Things learned:
1. The multi-colored kitchen cloth is too thin to use as a proper pot-grabber (unlike the solid-color ones)
2. My scone pan will not break, even when dropped.
3. Burns HURT (ok, I knew that already)
4. Audrey3 gives up her sap quite beautifully (that's my monster Aloe plant, for those who missed that story)
5. Even ice and aloe aren't making this hurt any less. Ok, a little less. And hopefully no blistering. And thankfully it's just the tip of one finger. But can I say - OW!
6. No I do not immediately run to the internet to report such things. I take care of the damage, first. THEN I report in.
